After completing the training course of urology at Taichung Veterans General Hospital, Director Chi-Ping Huang worked as the director of the Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy center at Chiayi Veterans General Hospital. His specialties include the diagnosis and treatment of urological malignancy (such as prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, and ureter cancer), minimally invasive surgery, and kidney transplantation. Doctor Huang has many experiences in performing surgeries using the daVinCi robotic surgery system and has accumulated over a thousand cases. He had received training courses of robotic-assisted surgery for prostatectomy and partial nephrectomy for kidney tumors at the Center for Advanced Robotic Surgery at the Ohio State University Medical Center in the United States. He also as well as had further training courses of kidney transplantation at the Tokyo Women's Medical University Hospital in Japan. He is also skilled in performing minimally invasive laser surgery for benign prostatic hyperplasia and cell therapy for urological cancers.
Professor Hsi-Chin Wu focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of unirinary tumor – Prostate cancer, renal cancer, Urothelial carcinoma, testicular cancer, penile cancer. He is a member of the Urological Cancer Committee, Taiwan Urological Association and has participated in composing clinical guide to prostate cancer of National Health Research Institutes Taiwan Cancer Clinical Research Collaboration Organization. For 2008 and 2012, he travelled to Hospital of University of California, Irvine and Celebration Hospital, Florida for training on robotic arm procedures. He also specializes in minimally invasive procedures including Cryotherapy and HIFU, providing customizable treatment for patients.
Doctor Chi-Rei Yang specializes in: Urology (renal, renal gland, bladder, prostate gland, testicle) tumors, primary retroperitoneal tumor, laparoscopy minimally invasive surgery, mechanical arm surgery etc. Doctor Yang was a research fellow at the Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, USA. He is currently a Director Taiwan Urological Association and Chair of the Urological Tumor Committee.
Director Chao-Hsiang Chang completed his Urology Specialist training at Taichung Veterans General Hospital and was an attending physician there. He went to Ann Arbor Medical Center, University of Michigan for advanced training. In 1995, he took the position of Director of Department of Urology, Dali Rengai Hospital, and has been working at the Hospital since 2001. He specializes in complication in urinating, and minimally invasive urological procedures (laparoscope and Da Vinci Procedure System), including urinary incontinence and Neurogenic Bladder, bladder prolapse, swelling of prostatomegaly, renal cancer, epidermal cancer, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, director and vice president of Taiwan Urological Association (Central region)
Professor Chen W.G.’s main areas of research are urinary tract stones, genetics, cancer and clinic urology diseases. He has over 100 research papers published in domestic and foreign journals. He mainly focuses on clinic experiments of cell & animal models, stone prevention drugs and good intake, genetics and integrated medicine. In the recent years, he has promoted translational medicine. Educational fields include medical theories, clinical urology, Chinese Urology Reproduction, clinical research methods, translational medicine, PBL teaching, PGY teacher and mentor etc.
Professor Chieh-Lung Chou has received advanced training from University of Rhineland and Cornell Medical Center. Doctor Chou specializes in urinary function treatment, including: female aconeresis, bladder prolapse, prostatomegaly, neuro based bladder. Doctor Chou uses Midurethral Intra-vaginal Sling to treat aconuresis, with outstanding effect and a satisfactory rating of over 90%. Prostatomegaly is treated with Ureter prostate surgery (electric razor or laser treatment). He is currently a Director of the Taiwan Urological Association.
Doctor Yeh Chin-Chung has complete surgery and urology qualifications. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney transplant and related surgery, general urology diseases. Common Urology procedures include: Circumcision, dorsal prepucectomy, urethral orifice opening, Suprapubic cystostomy, hernia treatment, hydrocele treatment, vasectomy, High ligation of varicocele, urethrostomy, Urethra endoscopic Cystolithotripsy, ureter endoscope examination, ureter endoscopic cystolithotripsy, testicular removal/fixation, ESWL etc.
Assistant Professor Kuo-Liang Chen has surgery and urology specialist qualifications and specializes in pediatric urology, erectile dysfunction; kidney stones and prostate diseases. Doctor Chen has repeatedly received treatment from Boston Pediatric Hospital, Harvard Hospital Tissue Engineering Cell Treatment Laboratory, Wake Forest Medical Center Restorative Medicine Department for tissue engineering and restoration medicine. His specialty is rare within the country and is currently a member of the TUA, Pediatric Urology Committee.
Doctor Chi-Shun Lien completed Urology Specialist training at China Medical University Hospital and is an attending physician who specializes in urinal tract stone surgery, urination dysfunction, treatment of prostatic hypertrophy (drugs, traditional electronic razor or laser treatment removal), urological tumor, hernia treatment (traditional or laparascopy), circumcision, vasectomy, Varicocele, sexual dysfunction.
Dr. Hsieh completed his specialized training in the field of urology at the China Medical University Hospital and currently serves as an attending physician.
