Since May 2017, the Center for Precision Medicine has been officially established. It is the first in Taiwan to use precision medicine for practical clinical use, and to upgrade the clinical service of China Medical University Hospital to a new milestone. Our Center for Precision Medicine focuses on clinical application and is committed to provide the best patient-centered service. The Center provides many genome-based tests for clinicians in different field. The Center enables clinicians, laboratory’staffs and researchers to work more efficiently in precision medicine field. The directions of the Center are to develop methods, tests, and tools to reach precision diagnosis, precision treatment, accurate prediction and precision prevention. A number of test items have been developed for cancer, rare diseases, drug metabolites, and microbiome. The genome-based testing combined with bioinformatic analysis and biological study, the Center can provide the most accurate result, and provide the best patient-centered service.
