Doctor Han-Tsung Cheng completed his general surgery residency training at Chang Gung Hospital. In 2011, he joined the Hospital’s medical team as an Attending physician. Doctor Cheng is friendly with his patients and clearly explains disease details. He has great passion and expertise in critical medicine and clinical care. He specializes in acute abdominal cases and laparoscopy, complicated trauma and critical medication.
Doctor Chia-wei Tzeng received complete surgery and Gastroenterology subspecialist training at the Hospital after graduation. He is familiar with acute abdominal diagnosis, general abdominal surgery, multiple critical abdomen procedure and trauma treatment and provides appropriate treatment according to the severity and situation of patient’s disease.
Chun-Ting Lai's expertise includes: minimally invasive vitrectomy surgery, scleral buckling surgery, small incision ultrasound cataract surgery, and diagnosis and treatment of eye diseasesrelated to the retina, choroid, vitreous body, crystal body and cornea, including retinal tears, retinal detachment, vitreous hemorrhage, vitreous opacity, endophthalmitis, diabetic retinopathy, retinal artery occlusion, age-related macular degeneration, macular edema, central serous chorioretinopathy, retinal hyperplasia, macular holes, cataract, eye diseases, dry eyes, and corneal ulcers.
Doctor Hsin-Yi Chen has been to the Eye Department of Tokyo University and Hiroshima University in Japan as a glaucoma researcher. Since 1999, Dr. Chan has been providing services in the affiliated hospital of our school. Apart from his clinical teaching experience, Dr. Chen is extremely concerned about his patients. In addition to the diagnosis and treatment of general eye diseases, he also specializes in diagnosis and treatment of glaucomatous optic neuropathy based on imaging. He is also experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma. At present, Dr. Chen is also a specialist in glaucoma and eye disorders for case referral in the Central Taiwan.
Doctor Jane-Ming Lin's expertise includes: retinal surgery, treatment of macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, vitreous hemorrhage, retinal detachment, retinal vascular disease, and high myopia retinal degeneration. Each year, Dr. Lin handles more than 100 cases of retinal surgery. Dr. Lin has served in our hospital since 1998, and he has a wealth of experience in clinical treatment. He has been engaged in fundamental medical research without interruption, and he has contributed to the latest medical knowledge by publishing medical papers.
Assistant Professor Chun-Chi Chiang is an expert in corneal and eye surgery. His expertise includes: corneal transplantation and treatment of keratopathy, keratoconus, corneal dystrophy, corneal opacity, keratitis, and corneal ulcers. The ocular plastic surgery is conducted mainly to treat ocular diseases on the exterior part of the eye, including ptosis, trichiasis (inverted eyelashes), nasolacrimal duct obstruction, etc. Dr. Chiang has served in our hospital since 2001 with a wealth of experience in clinical treatment. She has been engaged in fundamental medical research without interruption, and he has contributed to the latest medical knowledge by publishing medical papers in major international periodicals.
Doctor Yung-Ping Tsui's expertise includes: ultrasound cataract surgery, pediatric optometry, pediatric myopia treatment, pediatric strabismus/amblyopia treatment/correction, eyelid surgery, retinopathy of prematurity. Dr. Tsui likes children very much and is very patient to children as well. As the medical center for treatment of retinopathy of prematurity in Central Taiwan, the department of pediatric ophthalmology in our hospital is directed by Dr. Hui-Ru Lin and Dr. Yung-Ping Tsui jointly, and it has a complete set of equipment for treatment of myopia, amblyopia, strabismus, abnormal visual acuity.
Doctor Chun-Ju Lin is a senior ophthalmologist with a wealth of experience in the latest minimally invasive vitrectomy surgery. More than 90% of the ophthalmic patients have undergone the minimally invasive vitrectomy. Each year, Dr. Lin handles more than 300 cases of cataract surgery. Each year, there are over 200 cases of minimally invasive vitrectomy. Ophthalmic patients can have access to the more friendly, faster and better retinal vitreous surgery services. Dr. Lin also provides services such as ophthalmic plastic surgery, treatment of general eye diseases, and children's vision care. Doctor Peng-Tai Tien focuses on clinical treatment of retinal and macular diseases. He has extensive experience in treatment of retinal detachment, vitreous hemorrhage, macular holes and macular dehiscence with minimally invasive suture incision vitrectomy. Dr. Tian is also skilled in image interpretation and treatment of retinal diseases, such as eye-stroke, age-related macular degeneration, polypoid choroidal vasculopathy, macular degeneration with high myopia and diabetic retinopathy. As for the cataract surgery, Dr. Tian also has extensive experience in use of the latest surgical instruments and customization of artificial crystals.
