Since September 2014, our center has collaborated with Asia University and the Georgia Institute of Technology in the United States to establish an innovative medical team. This cross-disciplinary and integrated team comprises experts in Biomedicine, Medical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Mechanics, and Information Technology from domestic and international fields. Focusing on research and clinical validation, the team conducts advanced research and development in medical technologies, incorporating the latest international concepts and techniques.
In response to the significant increase in research capacity and market demand for exosome-based drug development, and to establish a research and development team that can interface with spin-off companies and related supply chains, we plan to transform the existing "x-Dimension Center for Medical Research and Translation" into the "Research & Development Center for x-Dimensional Extracellular Vesicles." The goal is to develop exosome therapy technologies and translate products into clinical treatments for market use.
