Doctor Chon-Haw Tsai is a professor and the current Director of Department of Neurology. Doctor Tsai was the Attending Physician of Movement Disorders Centre at Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. He acquired PhD at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in 1995 and went to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in Australia in 1996 to receive Movement disorder and Electrophysiology training. Doctor Tsai joined us in 2000. His areas of expertise include Parkinson’s disease and Movement disorders (such as tremors, myoclonus), especially on the related Electrophysiology and clinic services of related diseases. His expertise and religious faith has a deep influence on patients and young doctors alike.
Doctor Cheng-Chun Lee is a clinical doctor from Toho University. His past experiences include attending physician of division of neurology at Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, attending physician at the hospital’s Department of Neurology, Director, Vice President of College of Health Care. Doctor Lee specializes in the treatment of muscle and neurology genetic diseases.
Doctor Chung-Hsiang Liu has dedicated the past 10 years to stroke related clinic experiments and research. He recommended a treatment update, an agreement to treatment regulations and constantly promotes treatment regulations and public education. Doctor Chung-Hsiang Liu also assists with enhancing the efficiency of stroke prevention.; integrates, assists relevant associations; society’s stroke prevention and support; assistance in recording stroke situations, analysis of information, providing improvement directions and presenting research results. Doctor Liu specializes in clinic stroke and vascular dementia.

Doctor Wei-Shih Huang has been working at the hospital for over 20 years, since first graduating. After the establishment of the department of neurology wards 2000, Doctor Huang was appointed the Director of hospice and was the communication bridge between doctors and nursing personnel. He shares friendly relationships with nurses and patients alike and is rare doctor of good standing. His specialization lies in Physical Examination, logic thinking; and focuses on strokes, vascular ultrasound sonography, and integrated medical treatment. Aside from work, he has a whole variety of interests including tennis, swimming, movies and strives to achieve a balance between work and family life.
Doctor Chun-Hung Tseng was a Research Fellow at University of Sydney. He transferred to the hospital in 2001 and has been working here ever since. Currently he is a part-time instructor at our school who specializes in peripheral nerve, headaches, Fasciæ musculares discomfort syndrome and peripheral nerve system physical examination (neural transmission and electromyogram [close to 3000 cases a year]). Doctor Chun-Hung Tseng is familiar with neuroimmunology and Neural Epidemiology and has rich experiences in teaching.
After graduating from School of Medicine at National Yang-Ming University, Doctor Kang-Hsu Lin received traning at Taipai Veterans General Hospital and in 2002 acquired Neurology Specialist qualifications. In 2006, he acquired Department recognized instructor qualitifications. He started servicing in the hospital in 2007 and was responsible for looking after ICU patients. In addition he was appointed the Stroke & Neurology ICU Director in 2009. Doctor Lin specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of headache diseases.
Doctor Gwei Ming Lu graduated from China Medical University and after completing military service; joined the hospital’s Division of Nephrology and has provided over 10 years of service. Doctor Lu treats diseases with patience and his clinic work focuses on neural nerve degeneration diseases such as parkinson’s disease, Tremor, Cerebellum Brain Atrophy etc. From 2007-2010, He acquired Doctor degree at University of Frankfurt and has expertise in clinical usage and research of transcranial magnetic stimulation. In addition, he has abundant experience in the reading of specific brain waves such as triggering electric potential and movement preparation electric potential.
After graduating from the University, Doctor Yu-Wan Yang acquired a master degree in immunology from National Taiwan University and joined our hospital in 1997. She was awarded multiple times for outstanding doctor and best teaching doctor award. Apart from clinical medicine and rich experiences in teaching, Doctor Yang cares about her patients and treats them with empathy. In addition, Doctor Yang also acquired diabetes care qualifications. In addition to general neurology, hypertension, diabetes and metabolic syndromes (parkinson’s disease, chorea, unintentional movement etc.) and dementia ( alzheimer's disease, multi-infarct dementia etc.)
Doctor Yi-Ting Hsu is a Specialist of Division of neurology which specializes in the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease and Epilepsy. Doctor Hsu uses Botulinus bacillus to treat partial spasms of the fate, eye spasms and has abundant experience in Klippel-Feil syndrome. She specializes in deep brain stimulation in treating Parkinson’s Disease. Deep brain stimulation procedure is done by implanting a electronic chip and stimulated through currents to improve Parkinsons condition, reduce uncontrolled body condition. Through time, the patient’s medical treatments will need to change and deep brain stimulation parameters will need to be adjusted accordingly.
