- Do not consume alcohol and spicy, fried foods, peanuts and other stimulants.
- Eat more vegetables and fruits, develop the habit of defecating for a short time every day, and try to avoid constipation or diarrhea.
- Develop regular bowel habits and avoid staying up late.
- Wash the anus with warm water after defecation.
- Take a warm sitz bath (about 40℃) every morning and evening and after defecation. The bath time should not last too long, but 3 to 5 minutes.
- Avoid staying in the same position all the time. To remove blood stasis, do light exercise once in a while, and move around for 3 to 4 minutes every 1 hour for people spending much time seated.
