Diet

• When awake after general anesthesia, you may drink a little warm boiled water first and eat a mild diet after vomiting has stopped.
• Within 1 week after surgery, diet should not contain ginseng, sesame oil, and alcohol to prevent bleeding.

Medication

• Medication is required
• Take the medicine orally after three meals
• Apply the ointment three times a day

Styptic cotton in the vagina can stop bleeding

• No styptic cotton in the vagina
• There is styptic cotton in the vagina (black, small), which will be spontaneously discharged and fall off after several days. Do not be alarmed.

Self-care precautions

• Get more rest on the day of operation.
• During bleeding or within 2 weeks of operation: do not have sexual intercourse, vaginal lavage and insert vaginal suppositories.

Symptoms requiring immediate emergency medical attention

• Abdominal pain
• Vomiting
• A fever over 38 ℃
• Massive vaginal bleeding
• Malodorous vaginal discharge
