Description of the Medical Device

This titanium plate is fixed at the original location of the removed laminar after laminectomy to help the back muscles to attach to the bones again.

When to Use

Spine stenosis.  

Possible Side Effects

• The laminar becomes loose and compresses spinal nerves (about 2%).
• Topical infections (about 1%).
• Scoliosis (about 10%).

Post Surgery Care

• Change the dressings on the wound regularly and keep the wound dry.
• Consult with your physician or technicians about when to wear the assisting device.
