Description of the Medical Device
Spinal nail is implanted for patients with lumbar spondylolisthesis to secure the unstable lumbar after spinal reduction and pressure relief.
When to Use
Lumbar spondylolisthesis or lower backache due to spinal instability.
Possible Side Effects
The risks of this procedure include hemorrhage during the procedure (about 3%), spinal nerve damages during the procedure (about 1%), and spinal hard meninges injury (about 3%).
Care after the Procedure
- Change the dressing regularly and keep the wound dry.
- Consult with your physician or nurses about when to wear the assisting device.
