Medication Guidance-Anti-inflammatory Throat Spray 用藥指導-口腔消炎噴液劑

  • Product: DIFFLAM spray 3mg/mL 15mL/Bot
  • Chinese name: 得伏寧加強消炎噴液劑
  • Content: Benzydamine 3 mg/mL
  • Target: An anti-inflammatory analgesic, which is absorbed by the inflamed oral mucosa to produce local anti-inflammatory and anesthetic effects to relieve pain in the mouth and throat.

Usage and dosage

  • Adults (>12 years): Directly spray it 2-4 times on sore and swollen areas before slowly swallowing. Children aged 6-12 years: Directly spray it twice over sore and swollen areas before slowly swallowing. It can be reused every 1.5 to 3 hours if necessary.
  • After use, dry the nozzle with a clean facial tissue to avoid clogging.
  • Continuous treatment should not exceed 7 days unless directed by a physician.

Drug storage

  • Please store it below 25 ℃ without refrigeration, and avoid direct light.
  • Do not use the medicine that has expired or has changed color.

Possible adverse reactions

  • When using the spray, there may be numbness in the mouth, local burning and stinging sensation in the mouth or dry mouth, thirst, nausea and vomiting. Allergic reactions are rare.
  • You should inform your physician if you experience any of the above adverse reactions during use.

Special medication instructions

  • The spray should not be diluted when used directly. If there is burning and tingling after use, it can be diluted by gargling with boiled water to ease discomfort.
  • Although the safety of medication in children (under 6 years of age) has not yet been established. Your physician may prescribe oral anti-inflammatory sprays by considering the pros and cons of treatment due to illness and symptoms.
  • If the nozzle is loosened after use, press it back lightly for continued use.
