The use of the metered-dose, dry powder inhaler Accuhaler is completely controlled by the patient's breathing. When inhaled with force, the powder will travel with air to the lungs by Accuhaler, so adequate inhalation flow is important to achieve the desired inhalation effect with practice.

Use steps

• Tips: Open - push - inhale - close

1. Hold the device flat with the dose-meter facing upward.
2. Open: place your thumb on the thumb grip of the device and push back to the end.
3. Push: turn the mouthpiece towards yourself, and slide the lever until it clicks for one dosage.
4. Inhale: breathe out gently (not into the inlet).

• Place the mouthpiece between your lips and take a steady, deep breath (about 5 seconds). Don't inhale through your nose.
• Remove the device from mouth and hold breath for about 10 seconds or as long as possible.
• Breathe out slowly.
• If further doses are required, wait 1 to 2 minutes before repeating steps 1 to 4.

5. Close: place your thumb on the thumb grip of the device and push it forward to the end.
6. Rinse

• After inhaling, gargle with water and spit it out.
• Wipe the outside of the mouthpiece with a dry cloth to keep it dry.

Use precautions

• If the inhaled drug is steroids, rinse your mouth with water after use.
• The outside of the mouthpiece should be regularly wiped with a dry cloth at least once a week to keep it dry. Do not rinse it with water.
• Children younger than 4 years old are not fit for use.
• Store it in a dry place below 30 ℃.

Residual quantity judgment

• There is a dose indicator window on the bottle. The number on the indicator window represents the residual dose that can be provided. When the number drops to 5 to 0, a red number alert will be issued and "0" is displayed when no medicine is available.
