Because of its deep penetration, ”Chemical peeling”or “chemical micro-peeling” can exfoliate the aged skin on the face, accelerate the exfoliation of epidermal cells, the regeneration and metabolism of cells, and increase the renewal of fibrous tissue and basal substances in the dermis of the skin, even the pigment cells, hair follicle tissue and dermal tissue can be affected. Therefore, its effect can smooth fine lines, pits, superficial black spots, acne, superficial fine scars, keratinized spots, and increase skin elasticity.

Notes before Chemical Peeling

• Try to avoid exposure to the sun and use sunscreen products (SPF ≥ 30) at least half an hour before sun exposure.
• Take care not to have or stop the following behaviors one week before chemical peeling
  • Facial treatment, perms and dye job
  • Scrub cream and retinoic acid applied on the face, shaving and hair removal
• Please inform your physician if you have any of the following conditions:
  • Allergic dermatitis or autoimmune diseases
  • A cut on the face or a viral infection
  • Sensitive to sunlight or allergic to alcohol
  • On medication or smoking
• Please wash your face first, do not make up your face, do not use perfume on the day of chemical peeling.

Notes after Chemical Peeling

It will take about 1 week for your skin to fully return to normal after you receive chemical peeling. During the recovery period, you may experience the following symptoms: mild irritation, itching, pain, burning, facial tightness, peeling, or mild crusting. These symptoms resolve over time (within 1 week). In case of any swelling on the skin, please use an ice compress or cold compress within 24 to 48 hours after peeling.

• Please switch to mild cleanser to clean your face temporarily. Do not use a tool, such as a facial cleansing device, sponge or towel, to avoid irritation to the peel site.
• Facial cream can be applied after cleaning the face at night for the first 2 days following chemical peeling.
• Avoid sunlight and develop a good habit of applying sunscreen products (SPF ≧ 30) half an hour before going out during the day to prevent UV damage.
• To avoid scars, do not shave, peel off scabs, scratch the skin, apply a facial mask or wear a hat.
