Vice Superintendent Chang-Fang Chiu Specializes in Oncology, Hematology and Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation etc. Vice President Chiu received training in the world renown New York Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and has abundant experiences in treatment of different types of malignant tumor and Hematology diseases. Vice President Chiu established a Centre for patients of 20 main forms of cancer, care teams of multiple divisions and a Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation care system to provide patients high quality medical care. Doctor Wu-Chou Lin is an authority voice in different types of endoscope and minimally invasive endoscopic procedures, with outstanding performance in treatment of gynecology cancer and pelvis reconstruction. Doctor Lin past experiences include President of Taiwan Association for Minimally Invasive Gynecology. Minimally invasive surgery for gynecology cancer was previously thought to be impossible but with breakthroughs in technology (especially in entometrium cancer procedures) endoscopic procedures have been proven to be just as affective as traditional operating procedures. In addition, Da Vinci System was implemented for minimally invasive procedures for higher accuracy.
Professor Wu-Chung Shen was the Director of the Division of Neuroradiology. After returning to the Hospital in 1995, he dedicated his time to radiology expertise as well as long-term medical teaching. His past experiences include: Director of Taiwan Association of Medical Education, Director of School of Medicine, Dean, President of the College of Medicine, President of College of Health Care. He is the author of “Neuroradiology” that is quite popular among young doctors. Professor Shen enjoys personally teaching medical students on CT and MRI reading. In response to improving technology, he has also started a “Neuroradiology Education Web” that provides young learners with online learning experience.
Doctor Ping-Chun Li specializes in complicated adult vascular procedures, coronary artery bypass graft, Main artery procedure and support, congenital heart disease procedures, mechanical arm assisted heart surgery and heart transplant. Non pulse coronary artery bypass graft has become the Hospital’s standard operation method. It reduces the patient’s pain and speed up the recovery process as well as the number of days in the hospital’s administration.
Director Chao-Hsiang Chang completed his Urology Specialist training at Taichung Veterans General Hospital and was an attending physician there. He went to Ann Arbor Medical Center, University of Michigan for advanced training. In 1995, he took the position of Director of Department of Urology, Dali Rengai Hospital, and has been working at the Hospital since 2001. He specializes in complication in urinating, and minimally invasive urological procedures (laparoscope and Da Vinci Procedure System), including urinary incontinence and Neurogenic Bladder, bladder prolapse, swelling of prostatomegaly, renal cancer, epidermal cancer, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, director and vice president of Taiwan Urological Association (Central region)
Dr. Ping-Chin Lai specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases; including kidney transplantation, acute and chronic kidney disease, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, hypertension, and diabetes. Dean Lai has extensive experience in kidney transplantation and is good at other kidney-related diseases. Kidney disease usually manifests in hematuria, proteinuria, electrolyte abnormalities, edema, and accompanying hypertension; patients with chronic renal failure (referred to as chronic renal failure) must be considered for hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, or kidney transplantation.
