Steps
1. Prepare materials:
Steel bowl (cup), tweezers, normal salt solution, gauze, paper tape.

2. Boil and disinfect the steel bowl (cup) and tweezers in an electric cooker, and remove them after cooling.

3. Use tweezers to place gauze of appropriate size into a steel bowl
(Note: Do not hold gauze in your hand to avoid contamination)

4. Add normal saline to cover the gauze.

5. Twist the gauze dry with tweezers.

6. Cover the wound with gauze using tweezers.
(Note: Do not hold gauze in your hand to avoid contamination)

7. Cover the wound with dry, clean gauze.
|
8. Use paper tape to fix.
|
|
9. Dressing change is finished
|

Notes
- The wound should be kept clean and not immersed in water.
- If the wound is accidentally wet, please change the dressing according to the doctor's instructions or return to the hospital to change the dressing.
- Avoid stimulating foods, such as tobacco, alcohol, chilies, etc.
- Please use (take) medicine according to your doctor's instructions. Do not apply any ointment without your doctor's permission to the wound to avoid inflammation, infection or worsening of the wound.
- If you have a fever, chills, or there are redness, swelling, heat, pain, and pus in the wound, please return to the hospital immediately for examination and treatment.
