徐偉成醫師現任本院轉譯醫學研究中心副院長,專長為臨床神經學、神經免疫學、基礎神經科學、細胞及分子生物學。目前已完成全世界第一個利用週邊血幹細胞治療腦中風的第二期臨床試驗,以幹細胞免疫學研究為主要發展方向,並申請多項國際專利,分別與國際多家公司進行幹細胞產學合作。未來即將進行臨床早期的自體嗅鞘幹細胞及臍帶血幹細胞治療腦中風之臨床試驗,徐副院長在幹細胞免疫學研究成果卓越。
